Class Description:
Do you cringe whenever someone asks who the target market is for your business? Do you feel that if you have to pick just one niche that you'll be leaving money on the table? Most startup business owners either: - Get "stuck" trying to figure out their target market
- Feel frustrated and locked in by only having one target market
- Or, they run around like crazy trying to pursue everyone.
However, the reality is that in the first few years of your business you will probably make many changes, e.g. what target market you want to pursue, what products and/or services you want to offer, perhaps even your overall business direction. This session will give you a more pragmatic approach to developing a marketing strategy.
What You Will Learn:
* Why you want to select your top three target market niches, instead of just one.
* Why you want to focus on the top three "common thread" characteristics of each niche, instead of detailed market segmentation.
* How to prioritize your niches into high, medium and low priorities.
* Why the top priority segment doesn't necessarily mean the top dollar volume.
* How to manage your time while pursuing these niches.
* How to balance short-term and long-term market strategies.
This class may be recorded.
Who Will Benefit:
