Instructor Help Page

1. How do I duplicate a class?
You would want to use this option when you are going to schedule to teach again a class that you already have listed in our system.  All you have to do is to update the times/dates and you're all set!  (Otherwise you'd have to start over and type in the course description, etc., etc.,  So, it's a real timesaver.  Even if you want to change some of the text/description, you'll still save time by first duplicating an existing class and making the changes from that point.
Here's how to duplicate a class:
- enter your email and password.

- at the next page, click on "My Classes", third line from the top.
- click on "Duplicate" next to the class you wish to duplicate.

- make changes in ALL of the places where the date and time are indicated.
- make any other changes you wish

- Click the "Duplicate Class" button at bottom of page and continue with
the review, submission and credit card pay process.

2. How do I change my Instructor's Bio?
Go to www.teleclass.com, and click on "List a Class."
At the next page, click "List Your Class Now", third line from top.
On the next page, enter your email and password.

At the next page, make the necessary changes to your profile.
Click "Proceed", then exit the listing area.
Your changes will be saved.

3. How should I ask students to pay tuition for my fee classes?
By check, fax, phone or by any secure pay system you might have on your own website. Do not ask them to email you their credit card information. Electronic mail sent through the Internet is not secure and is often and easily intercepted by third-party 'sniffer programs.'

4. May I teach a class that is based on someone else's program or book?
Not without written permission from the author and/or publisher. It's usually okay to mention a key point or two from someone else's material or to ask students to read a book for reference, but if the substance of your class is taken directly from another's work, you will have to obtain written permission from the author. (Quite often, this is willingly given.) We will ask that you fax this written authorization to us. Fax: 1-604-740-0676.

5. I called into my class last night, and the phone just kept ringing. Is this a problem with the bridge?
Probably not.  Either you are calling early, or are the first person calling in.  When you are the first one calling in, the bridge keeps ringing until another caller arrives. Then the bridge gives a beep as each new caller is connected. You can just let the bridge keep ringing, even for several minutes.  If you get disconnected as you wait, just call right back.

6. Will TeleClass.com collect tuition fees for my fee class?
No, not at present, you will have to take care of this yourself. (See 3. above.)
