What
if I need to cancel my class?
You can cancel your class at anytime, but we do
not offer a refund or credit for cancelled class listings.
If your class has not been approved yet (you have
not received an approval email) you may can cancel your class
and have it not appear in the teleclass.com listing.
Go to http://www.teleclass.com/login.lasso.
Enter your email address and password, then you will be taken
to your listing page. You can cancel your class from there.
However, once your class has been approved and you
cancel it, it will appear as if you have not cancelled it. It
will still appear on the teleclass website, and you will still
get emailed reminders from the teleclass.com system because they
get sent automatically up to the date of your class. but people
will no longer be able to sign up for it, if they try.
Most importantly, you will need to go to your roster for this
class and email anyone who might have signed up to let them know
it's cancelled.

How
do I duplicate a class that I've taught before?
You would want to use this option when you are
going to schedule to teach a class again that you already have
listed in our system.
All you have to do is to update the times/dates
in the schedule and welcome/confirmation e-mail letter and you're
all set! (Otherwise you'd have to start over). Even if you want
to change some of the text/description, you'll still save time
by first duplicating an existing class and making the changes
from that point.
Here's how to duplicate a class:
-
-
At the next page, click on "View/Update/Duplicate/Cancel
the Classes I'm teaching", third line from the top.
-
Click on "Duplicate" next to the class you wish to
duplicate.
-
Make changes in ALL of the places where the date and time are
indicated.
-
Make any other changes you wish.
-
Click the "Duplicate Class" button at bottom of page
and continue with
the review, submission and credit card pay process.

How
do I update an existing class listing?
You would want to use this option when you spot
a typo or want to tweak or edit the wording in your listing.
Here's how to update a class:
-
-
At the next page, click on "View/Update/Duplicate/Cancel
the Classes I'm teaching", third line from the top.
-
Click on "Update" next to the class
you wish to duplicate.
-
make any changes you wish if you make a change
in the Schedule field, or the Bridge number field, only
make typo corrections, not real schedule changes,
as the system will not recognize actual schedule or bridge
number changes at this spot. (to make those changes, go to
duplicate a listing, above.)
-
Click the "Update Class Listing"
button at bottom of page and you're done.
How
do I reserve a bridge line?
You can obtain free teleconferencing bridges from either
www.freeaudioconferencing.com or
www.freeconference.com.
-
Wrong Bridge Number. Of course,
you'll want to locate and dial the correct bridge number.
-
Number was Misdialed. Check
the number and dial again carefully.
-
Called Early/First Caller.
If you are the first caller, the phone will ring endlessly until
someone else calls in - then you'll be automatically connected.
If you are first or early, let it ring about 15-20 times, hang-up
and call again.
-
Translated the Time Incorrectly.
You may want to review time translations at
www.timeanddate.com.

Where
can I look up my bridge number?
No problem.
Go to http://www.teleclass.com/login.lasso.
Enter your email address and password, then you will be taken
to your student page. Click on "My Classes", third line from the
top. On this page will be a table of all your classes, with bridge

What
classes are NOT acceptable to list?
There are some classes we cannot list
here. These include:
- Coach-training related. Coach
U and CoachVille
have contracts with us to list their coach training classes.
Training involves teaching coaches certain materials and providing
them with a set of resources that they can use to help clients
work towards specific goals.
- Coach -mentoring related.
Coach U and CoachVille
have contracts with us to list their coach mentoring classes.
Mentoring would be walking a coach through a specific process
and offering feedback on how they did, what could be done differently,
where improvements can be made, etc.
- Teleclass Leader Training. We
already offer these from in-house instructors.
- Multilevel marketing. We do not list MLM
or network marketing classes. Sorry.
- Any class/topic that isn't 100% up front and honest.
No product pitches unless clearly stated in the class
description. No hard sells to a tuition-based program.
- Anything that intrudes on the intellectual property
rights of others.

Can
I teach a class based on someone else's program or book?
Not without written permission from the author
and/or publisher. It's usually okay to mention a key point
or two from someone else's material or to ask students to read a
book for reference, but if the substance of your class is taken
directly from another's work, you will have to obtain written permission
from the author. (Quite often, this is willingly given.) We will
ask that you forward a copy of this written authorization to us
via email to help@teleclass.com
How
does my class get promoted?
It's up to you to market your own class. There's many
creative ways you can do this including:
- Send a CAN-SPAM compliant email to possible participants or
clients, with the class information and link to register included.
- Put it on your website.
- Promote it in your email signature.
- Other methods that are covered in our Teleclass
Leader Training Program.
If the class you offer is free, our marketing efforts
may help to direct people to your class. If your class is fee-based,
our marketing efforts probably won't be enough to help you fill
your class. We highly recommend that you offer one or more free,
single-session TeleClasses first to see what the market wants.
To ensure a successful class,
we suggest the following:
- List your class between 3 and 6 weeks before the start date
of your class.
- Start with a free class of one, two, three or four sessions.
If these prove to be popular, then offer a tuition-based class.
(Note: If you wish to start with a tuition-based, class, no
problem. But you should know that it will probably attract very
few, if any, registrations. )
- Set the class size at 40 to 75. Remember, with free classes,
you may have up to a 40% no show rate.
- Only teach what you have experience with. Don't disappoint,
oversell or otherwise mislead.
- Always describe WHO the class is for specifically, in your
class description

News ezine to an ever growing subscriber base, to assist you
in your promotional efforts.

How
do students register for my free class?
If the class you list is a free class (meaning that
you do not charge for it), our system will handle everyone's registration,
automatically. In fact, our system is set up to do all of this for
you. Students receive an immediate confirmation with the bridge
number, time/dates and pre-class instructions, if any. In fact,
you write this letter when you list your class with us, so it's
really from you personally. You'll receive regular reports and the
email addresses of students as they register, so you have everything
you need to contact them.
Note: Your students can register for their classes
at Teleclass.com
or via our email system. Details will be forwarded to you so you
can make registration a snap!
How
do students register for my fee class?
If your class is a fee class (meaning you are charging
students to attend), you will be handling the registration, confirmations,
reminders, fee collection, etc. All we are doing is offering a low-cost
listing for you. Students will be emailing you with their interest
or visiting your website if you so direct them to.
How do I ask
students to pay for my class?
By check, fax, phone, PayPal
or by any secure pay system you might have on your own website.
Do not ask them to email you their credit card information.
Electronic mail sent through the Internet is not secure and is often
and easily intercepted by third-party 'sniffer programs.'
You may also want to set up a shopping cart to handle
payments online via CartVille.com.
This automates the entire registration, confirmation and payment
process for classes!
Note: TeleClass.com does not accept student fees
on behalf of instructors. Sorry.
